Northwoods Granola April 22, 2002
And now, without any further delay…. the granola recipe of the century….
Northwoods Granola
3.5 quarts of oats
1 c. whole wheat flour
1 t. salt
1 c. brown sugar
2/3 c. coconut
2/3 c. sunflower seeds
2/3 c. slivered almonds
1 3/4 c. oil
1 1/2 c. honey
1 t. vanilla or maple
2/3 c. water
-Mix dry ingredients and set aside
-Mix wet ingredients until honey and water are not separated
-Pour wet into dry ingredients
-Mix by hand until dry ingredients are coated
-Put in cake pan and bake at 300
-Stir occasionally until golden-brown and dry
-Be sure you have plenty of milk because this stuff will go fast!
-Throw away your cornflakes ![]()
