You don’t find many self-proclaimed Buckeyes as far north as Newaygo County, Michigan. That’s why I was a little curious about the fellow behind me in line at WalMart that day about five or six years ago. Usually Buckeyes don’t do too well that far north.

We are on our way back across the State of Michigan from our Director’s meeting at IBLP Headquarters in Oak Brook, Illinois. It was a beautiful weekend. The sun shines brightly on the snow. Lois is my driver this week. She’s a steady woman.

If you keep your heart in right adjustment every day it will be a place of intense, focused training for life. It can be a powerful laboratory for life. As such it should be seen as a great opportunity. But you need to understand the opportunity that it is. There are rich benefits of living in community.
