Kids have always misbehaved. They always will. It’s like a sport for adults to try to figure that out. As hard as it is to imagine, even I sometimes misbehaved in my wayward youth. A generation ago they labeled this depravity. In a more enlightened age and we began to call it juvenile delinquency. That had social overtones.

For our silver wedding anniversary I talked my southern wife into going north with me. We spent most of two days enjoying Mackinac Island. They were both beautiful fall-like days. The guy at the Birkenstock store put us onto this little coffee shop right on the Harbor. I’m sure I will never visit the island without spending some time at this little shop. It has windows all arouind and sits right on the harbor. The coffee was great and they serve cinnamon rolls as big as a barge.
