Appalachian Trail Hike

6 April 2006 3 views 3 Comments

This morning I “section-hiked” the famous Appalachian Trail.

The Pennsylvania section of the trail is rocky and it would be a challenge to hike it with a pack.

The Trail runs from Springer Mountain in Georgia to Katadin in Maine.

Looking south toward Maryland and the mountains.

My heart longs to be there. I love that trail and there is something about the trail that bekons me to visit it again. Maybe I’ll have to get a child-pak and start our “little one” out soon. Love you. Did you see any fellow hikers?

I did not. I sat on a log and journaled for a while and thought how that Circuit-Rider would be along in a few months, but I had to get going. :)
