Holly’s Birthday

14 April 2008 23 views One Comment

Today is Holly’s birthday. As always, we could hear the birds singing as we walked into the restaurant for our traditional birthday breakfast. (I’m sure you can see pictures of Holly at www.loispierpont.com). Dan and Wes preached their first sermons this past weekend. Dan will preach again on Wednesday night. Pictures of that may surface there, too. Hope will be nine next Lord’s Day.

Kyle and Chuk preach every week. Kyle to the young people at Grace Church in Granger Indiana and Chuk to the young people at First Baptist Church in Sister Bay, Wisconsin. My Grandfather is in heaven, Dad is in Ohio, Kevin in northern Michigan, Nathan in Kalamazoo and Melony and her husband-preacher Jim in Illinois. One of their sons is with YWAM and YWAM missionaries end up preaching all over the world. One of their daughters is currently assisting missionaries in Cambodia. Of course I preach two or three times a week here in Taylor, Michigan. Pray for all of us as we try to sew good words into peoples hearts all around us that we will always be faithful in our words and in our deeds. Do please pray for each of us.

We are enjoying our very first spring in Granville Cottage and getting out and exploring the Downriver – our new community. I’m meeting the people of Evangel and tucking away their stories in my heart. Some of the stories are wonderful, some of them are romantic, some of them are adventures,
some of them are tragic, and – I’m sure some of them I will be telling you here when they have aged and I have acquired permission to do so.

Just when I think Lois can’t capture a better picture she does. What talent! Great to see your men preach.
Happy Birthday Holly a day late.
Keep telling your stories. I love them.
