A Note from MOM

On the Lord’s Day Mom and Dad usually communicate with us. Mom sends a prayer to all her preacher boys and family early in the morning. There are really a bunch of us. About seven preachers in the family if I am counting right. I always look forward to them. She sent me this poem this morning – . I knew immediately I had to share it with each of you:

If peace be in the heart,
The wildest winter storm is full of solemn beauty.
The midnight flash but shows the path of duty.
Each living creature tells some new and glorious story,
The very trees and stones all catch a ray of glory,
If peace be in the heart.

-Charles Francis Richardson

“THE MUSIC IS NOT IN THE INSTRUMENT BUT IN THE SOUL OF THE MUSICIAN”

I shared this wonderful link with Mom.

Pastor, I’ve enjoyed your website and the spiritual emphasis was a real blessing. We have not met but shall, the Lord willing when we return for our furlough in May/June of 2009. Your missionaries to Cape Town, Marc and Judie
