For lo, the winter is past, The rain is over and gone. The flowers appear on the earth; The time of singing has come, And the voice of the turtledove Is heard in our land. (Song of Solomon 2:11-12)

Monday the Pear tree in front of Granville Cottage exploded into bloom. Lois took a picture so you could see. The trees are budding green. Birds have broken into song. A clean breeze blows through the cottage this morning. In the distance a train whistles south. Spring has come again faithful as the mercy of God. Read Lamentations 3:20-24.

Tonight I just got in from a delightful call. It has been a very full and productive day of ministry. When I was young I so longed to be used of God and wondered if I would have a place the harvest. I had no idea then that my life with be so rich and full of ministry every day.

It is going to drop into the low 40′s overnight. I love Michigan. I mean it. I love Michigan. The seasons remind me of the unfailing goodness of God. Psalm 74:16-17 says; You have set all the borders of the earth; You have made summer and winter. The day is Yours, the night also is Yours; You have prepared the light and the sun.
