Consecrate yourself to God (at camp) Romans 12:1-2
2. Have seasonal renewals of consecration (retreats)
3. Have weekly reminders of eternal things (church)
4. Practice daily habits of the heart (devotions)
5. Learn to walk in moment-by-moment intimacy with God.
If you have heard me speak at camp you may have heard this story and this truth. It is a very simple way to express powerful comfort and help for the rest of your life. You don’t have to know the way home if you are with the One who knows the way home.
When I was ten Dale Mead taught me something that I have found useful all my life. When I speak at camp I always share these three things and pray that they will stay in the hearts of campers for the rest of their lives.
If you concentrate on being who God wants you to be, God will bring you who He wants you to have.
