I just got back from Bible class tonight. We are learning about church history. Some things I understand and some things I really don’t get at all but I really like the thought of learning more about the Bible. It’s fun.

Today I came up here to get some things done and reclined back in my chair and went to sleep. The rain was falling outside my window and I went sound asleep with my soft blanket. It was really nice to just sleep…

I have been working on my beautiful quilt wall hanging. It’s blue and yellow. The colors I picked are gorgeous, even if I do say so myself. J The pattern is called the ?Ohio Star’.

I am still working on my scrap booking and really love to see it come along. Though now I need more pages to fill.

Today I got the neatest letter from a girl who attended the Gathering. It encouraged me so much as she told how she had a complete change of heart while here.

She said “I realize that the Highest Calling is being a Mother at home” She said that she is coming home from the career she was pursuing, obeying her parents and changing her course though this was not what she really wanted to do at all before.

I was SO encouraged to open my email this morning at the desk and see that! I realize that is true ministry to obey God then He does the real work in the hearts of others. I love being involved in life changing ministry! She said the “Gathering changed her life”!

I never forget going through what I felt was real opposition over the Gathering and many nights I would cry because I really felt like I couldn’t do it yet God wanted me to. I see that was satan at work and I am so thankful that Jesus Christ is victorious in everything and made it a beautiful success. I am seeing now why, He wanted to work in the hearts of eager young ladies who came.

I am so excited at the prospect of new ministry opportunities I am looking into right now. I just cannot not wait for the next thing God has. I am really excited about being able to work with the E.V. girls on a project here in Flint hopefully soon.

It is so excited to be working for the Lord and doing His service!! I was thinking about this the whole day off and on even while I slept I would wake and think about Him! I so love Him… and am so excited about the paths He is leading me on in ministry.

Psalm 96 — “Oh worship the Lord in the beauty of Holiness” I read this this morning and love it. True beauty is holiness of life.
