The beautiful summer days have been flying by! We have been so busy this whole summer visiting here and there and working here at the Inn. It’s been a great summer. I hate to think of it coming to a close, but with the close of summer come the beginnings of autumn and all the beauty of the short season. There are so many things to look forward to as I think about the quilting classes I would love to take, the bible study for young woman I need to start and also planning for the next “Gathering”.

God is so good. We went to the beach yesterday and enjoyed time as a family. There’s nothing like just spending time with your very own family in simple yet beautiful places. We had a good day. I love spending time with Kyle and Elizabeth such a good couple.

This next week is the CRIM Race. It will be absolutely crazy at the Front Desk. I’m glad Mom is planning on helping me with a lot of it. It’s almost more than I can handle. I do a lot of the work of getting things ready and checking everyone in. The Inn is almost fully booked.

Then we are singing at my Uncle’s church Sunday then next Sunday we will be going to Kentucky again! We are going for Mom’s family reunion and Kyle and Elizabeth are coming too. Then we will be singing on the town square for the “Silver Mine” festival.

Life has been good and very busy. God is so good to us. His blessings flow daily, hourly to us. I often think of people who waken each morning without a living Hope. They live without Hope! As I was driving the car into town the other day I heard a song. This song pulled at my heart and I was trying to hold back the tears as I drove. I realized that He is the only one that can grab my heart like that can enrapture me in His amazing love and my heart wants to sing and cry all at the same time. Wow His love IS amazing! And I awaken with so much Hope and happiness in life…
