Ephesians 3:20 “Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think — “
The Journey went absolutely amazingly well. God really did meet us there in the Northwoods and spoke to our hearts. I was reminded once again of the verse Ephesians 3:20. He truly can and will do all that we could ask or even think!
On our ten-day journey I saw a miracle in the life of Jaimie. It was one of neatest experiences of my life. My faith was strengthened in that I saw my prayers answered that day in her life. I still remember her looking me in the eyes and telling me
“I won’t change and I don’t want to seek God”.
I had no idea what to do at that point. Through prayer and seeking out the help of our leaders, God brought her to Himself in such a beautiful way! And I was there kneeling beside her on the couch as she, through tears, asked God to save her and change her. Those were beautiful words to me.
One of my dearest sweetest friends Courtney is another life that was changed those 10 days. To read her beautiful testimony be sure to go to her web page here. What an answer to prayer! My God changes hearts! Who else can ever do something so amazing? I feel so used by God yet having such a distinct feeling and realization it was nothing I did!
One evening we watched a wonderful video by Elisabeth Elliot called “Passion & Purity”. I highly recommend getting that video. I really like her a lot. That night we all got on our knees together and committed our bodies to the Lord and to complete purity for His glory. It was beautiful and very convicting for me. Because we can’t just say that we will remain pure to the alter or that maybe we won’t kiss till the alter — it just won’t work. We must plead with God for pure hearts from deep within us. And that is what we did.
As we all examined our hearts we really went in depth and asked God to change us from the inside out. I believe He did and is doing that in us. God once again faithfully showed me how much He really does love and care for me personally. And I stand satisfied in Him.
February 17 — 26 will be another “Journey To The Heart”. Please pray for me as I once again go to lead the group. Once again we want to actually see, taste and feel God’s love and plead with Him to change us from the inside out.

Hey Holly! I was so honored to be a part of your team, you were the best leader and your humble spirit was such a grace-giver to the rest of us! You are a beautiful example of Christ’s unconditional love! I look forward to many more wonderful times with you as we seek the Lover of our life! God bless you forever, Elizabeth
“I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and He shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the Lord!” -Psalm 27
