If you live anywhere near here we would love to have you in our meetings this week, Monday through Thursday at 7:00 p.m. each night.
This is the Mongul Church where we sang and preached on Sunday morning.
This is the Orrstown Church where the rest of the meetings will be.
Our dear friend Monica Huber drove an hour from her home to join us for most of the day. (She is the one without the glasses).
We are in beautiful south central Pennsylvania this week to sign and speak for Spiritual Renewal Services for Mongul and Orrstown United Brethren in Christ Churches. They are delightful people, although I think they are trying to kill us by overfeeding. My grandfather always said there are some kinds of animals that will kill themselves if they over-graze. I hope I survive this week.
We are staying in the McLean House Bed and Breakfast in Shippensburg. It is delightful. Jan and Bob Rose are our hosts and they have the gift of hospitality. They are Episcopalians so we are having some lively conversations over fresh orange juice and hazelnut coffee in the mornings. It’s quiet and I am doing some writing and reading a couple biographies.
We are going to try to take in Lancaster County while we are in the area. Holly, Heidi, and Hannah are with me this week doing children’s ministry and singing and they have done some reading about the Lancaster Country area.
For the next three Sundays we will be preaching at Grace Christian Fellowship in Bay City. On the last Saturday and Sunday of April we go international – . Chatham, Ontario Canada. Hope to see you on the road sometime. If you can’t catch up with us, invite us to your church or group or visit the Inn. Let us know you are coming and I will show you my secret coffee pot.
