Necessity of the Holy Bible and the Holy Spirit for Holiness! The means of grace work together, prayer, obedience, worship, meditation—but they all have one thing in common—they are activated and empowered by the Holy Spirit…. The Spirit of God must appropriate our sanctification to us.
This requires a miracle of enlightenment to change metenoia… change Transformed by renewing of our mind. (Romans 12:1-2; 2 Tim. 2:23-26).
Whatsoever things are… (Phil. 4:8-9 filter: true, noble, just, pure, lovely, good report, virtuous, worthy of praise-meditate) This should govern what you read, watch, listen to, who you have fellowship with. NOISE…. (ill) What movies, what music, what books… the kind of media that contribute to this… I would think should be a… how does this commend Christ? How can I worship in doing this?
B. The Spirit is Speaking to You. Whose voice do you hear? That is how we know who your father is!

Jesus is Praying for you and The Spirit of God is speaking to you. He is continually speaking words of life, when we hear with our hearts (illumination) we will experience the life of God, the holiness of God in us.
Are you saved? Are you listening? Do you listen for the sound of His voice? Do you love the sound of his voice?

10 R’s for Replacing Lies with Truth
- Request that God would reveal lies in your life Psalm 139:23
- Recognize lies in your life and their roots. John 16:13. Confess them to God. 1 John 1:9
- Repent, asking God to forgive you for believing a lie. Proverbs 28:13
- Release any offenders as often unknowingly well meaning people (parents, siblings, and friends) speak lies into our lives. Colossians 3:13
- Relinquish the lie you believed. Proverbs 4:23
- Renew your mind daily, by exchanging lies for the truth, such as “I have no friends; no one likes me,” to “I am a friend of Jesus.” John 15:15
- Receive and believe God’s truth. John 8:32
- Rehearse new truth until it begins to penetrate both your heart and mind becoming your new way of life. Psalm 86:11 I can remember a season in my life where I wrote out various verses about who I was in Christ. Every morning and before going to bed I would say these verses out loud for a month until I believed them.

- Repeat steps as needed.
