Things to Think About When You Are Tempted to Sin:
-You are about to hurt the people who depend on you.
-You are about to take a step toward addiction to this sin.
-You are about to give Satan and others a means of accusation.
-You are about to damage or destroy your testimony for God and your personal reputation.
-You are about to discredit your God. Our private sin is an open scandal in heaven.
-You are about to forfeit eternal rewards.
-You are about to break fellowship with God.
Regular, Public Praise

Winter Morning
By God’s grace I have renewed my resolve this year to quietly spend the first part of every morning with the Lord in peaceful communion.
“O the pure delight of a single hour,
That before Thy throne I spend,
When I kneel in prayer and with Thee my God,
I commune as friend, with friend…”

Snowfall
Silently falling through the air the snow
Blankets the bareness of the earth below.
Branches of trees once black are white
With crystals pure and glistening with light.
The hardy venture boldly out into the street
Exchanging cheerful greetings with everyone they meet.
From wherever winters weary wanderers roam
Muffled footsteps make their way toward home.
