– I just feel closer to God in the out-of-doors.
– I don’t think you have to go to church to worship God.
– The church is full of hypocrites.
– My parents forced me to go to church when I was young.
– I used to be very active. I guess now I’m just “burnt out.”
– We just get with our family and have home church.
– Sunday is my only day to sleep in.
– They pay me extra to work on Sunday and I need the money.
– All churches are different. How do you know which is right?
– We’re planning to attend, we just haven’t got around to it yet

Harold Hill’s Watermelon Story
Harold Hill told me this story himself. He loved to tell it. After he told me the story if he asked me if I had heard it before I always lied and enjoyed watching him tell it again. It was either true or he had told it so many times that he had the details down pretty well because he always told it the same way.

Retirement
Al and Betty are retired. They have been retired for years and they are spending their retirement years in a unique way. Like many who retire, they bought a travel trailer to rove the county. But unlike many who retire they had no intention of taking it easy.

Dead Stick
I’m always trying to think of creative ways to convince people that what I believe about Jesus Christ is true. He has changed my life and my family and I will love Him forever for that. That’s one of the reasons I attend Bible conferences, to learn more about how to effectively communicate truth about the Lord Jesus.
I had an interesting experience one morning on the way to a Bible Conference.
