  1. Amen! Thank you for these beautiful words—beautiful, powerful seeds of hope and encouragement.

  2. Thank you for always sharing and showing us the beautiful farm you live on and your love for the Lord. By the way, your green gravel bike..I might consider “Kermit” for its name. However, read below a few of the words of “it’s not easy being green”. See if they move your heart next time you go for a ride. 🙂

It’s not that easy bein’ green
    It seems you blend in
With so many other ordinary things
And people tend to pass you over
    ‘Cause you’re not standing out
Like flashy sparkles in the water
    Or stars in the sky
But green’s the color of spring
And green can be cool and friendly like
And green can be big like an ocean
Or important like a mountain or tall like a tree
When green is all there is to be
It could make you wonder why
    But why wonder, why wonder?
I am green and it’ll do fine
It’s beautiful and I think it’s what I wanna be.

  3. Your story really encouraged me to want to do something to encourage somebody else. When I was much younger I liked catching “grasshoppers” in the field at the end of the block where me and my brother grew up. We went there a lot! The field isn’t there anymore, only businesses there now. Many happy memories were created there! When I seen the color of your bike it reminded me of a “grasshopper” green, so I thought grasshopper would be to long of a name, so I thought of a movie I seen a long time ago and there was this guy named “Hopper” in it, so I thought that would be a good name for your bike cause it kinda hops through the gravel trails you ride on (with your strength peddling of course! lol.) Our family use to name our vehicles too!, “How sweet the memories” and your stories usually always bring back those childhood memories, thank you for always inspiring me!, You are still “VERY” much missed in these neck of the woods sort-a-say! God’s Blessings Always and you and your entire family are always in my prayers!, Sincerely and with much love, Cindy Sharpe
