We have been in training for our Mexico Trip
It was a beautiful morning in east Texas this morning. The pines and oaks are filled with bird song in the morning and evening. This morning it was cool and beautiful and I conducted some of my duties outdoors enjoying the feel of the sun on my head and a pine-scented breeze.
The team did two hours of housekeeping for the ALERT Academy. They are a great, energetic group and they earn their keep. At meal times Mr. Gothard has been sharing nuggets of wisdom and soliciting comfirming testimonies from the group. The team took their last “Wal-Mart” trip before departure. We are workin on our programs this evening and will try to turn in early becasue we have an eleven-hour trip to take tomorrow.
We would like very much to be able to leave for Mexico early in the morning. Please pray for last-minute adjustments to our Coach. We hope to be meeting with families in Monterrey Tuesday evening and we have an assembly and school visit on Wednesday morning.
On the coach on the way down I should be able to write out some of the training that we are receiving as we prepare for our adventure. It has been rich and we hope to be able to create a manual for future Great Expeditions.
