I like to buy books for people I love when I can. I like to think that years after I’m gone they will pick them up and remember my love for them. Last week I was speaking up near the Lelenau Peninsula in northern Michigan. Hope and I strolled into a little book shop and I found her a nice hard-cover of Charlotte’s Web. I inscribed it for her. She had it read in a couple days.

Making memories is great. That’s where your books come from are the great memories you have of family and God. The Pierponts have made a great memory on my heart. Who would have known how shortly your family would touch my heart!
