When I was at Moody Grad School Dr. Harold Westing visited and taught. He had written a book called “Create and Celebrate Your Church’s Uniqueness.” God lead Lois and I to serve the Bethel Church in Jackson, Michigan. I have never had a more profound sense of God’s direction… and quickly we discovered the wonderful uniqueness of Bethel Church. You can see some of that in some of the videos from our first Christmas here…

UPDATE–DECEMBER 29; The Red Jeep Journal mailing list has been growing since I came off the road and took the pastorate at Bethel.
Mid-January, Lord willing, I will be replacing the Red Jeep Journal with a new newsletter.
If you are subscribed to the Red Jeep Journal you will automatically receive the new weekly newsletter. I will have more details within a month should God allow. The newsletter will come from our new country home in Jackson County. Keep your eye on this space, which will change and have a new title soon to be revealed. The newsletter will be sent every week and will include fresh writing, photos, videos and podcasts episodes.
If you are interested subscribe to the Red Jeep Journal and mid to late January, the name will change and weekly e-mails will begin. Until then, Happy New Year.
