I really liked what you wrote in the Stonebridge this morning. It falls beautifully on some of the thoughts I have been pondering this week. I am so glad God ordained for me to to meet you in a dumpy city in Michigan. I’m glad it was a nasty town not somewhere pristine. I think those years taught me to see and ponder beauty. I think everyone should live somewhere very imperfect for at least a year of their lives. I hope someday my ministry looks a little like yours.
Hey, Josiah. We are so glad we met you, too. Thanks for your kind words and your friendship. I did love our time in Flint and God has given me a massive burden and love for this state, especially the parts where people are struggling to carve out a life.
