Six or eight inches of snow fell this evening while we were getting to know new friends. It was a delightful evening, listening to stories of how God reaches into hearts. Later, at home, we started a fire and we all gathered to enjoy watching Saving Sarah Cain, based on Beverly Lewis’ novel, The Redemption of Sarah Cain. I once drove all the way from Flint, Michigan to the Indiana Amish Country because one of Beverly Lewis’ books was available there and the girls wanted to read it. I love stories about how God gently draws people back to Himself. In a way, He has done that to me so many times. That’s one of the things I love about Him.

I went on Amazon and got it. It was great! One of the points I got out of it was a lie is a lie. Masking the truth or not telling part of it is a lie. That’s where relationships start to fall with God and people.

Great movie! I watched by myself then part of it with our son then tonight our granddaughter is here and our son, our granddaughter and I watched it. Great lessons in this movie. A tool to tell of Jesus’ love.
