Every day I am grateful to God for my mom and dad who encouraged me every day of my life to serve the Lord every day of my life. I started public speaking, teaching, preaching ministry when I was fourteen years old. This is a picture of my very first public teaching responsibility. I was assigned to teach the missionary story of Hudson Taylor by Child Evangelism Fellowship for VBS. It was at Blessed Hope Baptist Church in Huber Heights, Ohio. A significant part of my work right now is coaching young men to preach. A couple of my sons and other young men in the church will be preaching for Talents for Christ this year. I will be speaking at a Communications Seminar in Dallas later this month.

Aw Dad you were so cute!
I love the title, “Start Young.” My daughter taught me the first Bible verse I learned. She was three. I had never heard it before. “Thy word have I hid in my heart that I might not sin against Thee.” Ps 119:11. A little child shall led them.
Have you ever took a group to work at CEF? We love it. There are three small groups going from Evangel that I know of this year. A great work.

thanks for noticing. My mother actually made that tie. All the guys in the family had one. That was before I knew about British Regimentals.
